We provide day-to-day support to local and foreign companies, of whatever size, and their executives. We advise on all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and give them assistance in times of crisis. As advisers we must above all focus on ways to prevent or limit the emergence or continuation of litigation, whether through prevention or negotiation.

We are also litigation lawyers, recognized as such by the profession and believe that our experience in litigation informs the quality of our advice. We are experienced in national, transnational, and community jurisdictional proceedings before ordinary courts and before arbitration tribunals. We act in arbitrations as counsels or arbitrators and are comfortable with alternative dispute resolution and negotiated justice. For mediated negotiations, one of our partners is a mediator accredited by the Belgian Federal Mediation Commission.

We organize internal training courses at client's request and carry out legal studies, particularly of comparative law.

The Firm has developed expertise in the assistance of editors of general interest and thematic television channels, television production companies in the field of professional sports, and entertainment industry professionals.

Practice in this area involves advice at the establishment of a channel, the use of talent, the acquisition of required authorizations, the representation in public tendering auctions, and in bringing the client’s practice in compliance with European and Belgian rules regulating the sector. It includes assistance in the drafting of contracts for the production, distribution and exploitation of media content, as well as administrative matters, the protection of works, the acquisition or licensing of rights, and the search for tax advantages and subsidies. We also represent clients before supervisory and regulatory authorities (such as the Superior Audiovisual Council).

In the field of telecommunications, at the request of the European Commission, we conducted two major comparative law studies and analyses in order to improve the development of electronic data transfers within the European Economic Area. We have also been commissioned by a major telecommunications operator to identify the legal obstacles to the implementation of a system for sending registered e-mails in the EU and the legal conditions to be met when setting up such a system.
