We eat "GDPR" at every meal since 2018. However, there is one aspect that has not been talked about enough: the economic and commercial opportunities it can generate.

Data are the raw material of companies. They are, nowadays, invaluable. Business development and business decision-making are largely based on the exploitation of this data.

If this data constitutes personal data and you process them, there are principles to be respected. These principles were laid down by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR).
